Q: Does SoftballTech replace my league's current website?
A: No, we are an addition to your site. Your site can link directly to your league's main page on our site, or you can use frames on your site to make SoftballTech appear within your current site.

Q: Does SoftballTech provide scheduling services?
A: No. There are several stand-alone software packages available, some at very reasonable costs. Most of these will include an export capability in a format perfect for use with SoftballTech. Contact us for recommendations.

Q: What is the process for populating the schedules for my league?
A: We accept most soft-copy formats. If your league currently uses software to generate your schedule, it's likely that you would simply send us the output from that software. If your league currently generates schedules manually, please contact us for our recommendations.

Q: How are scores entered?
A: Team managers or players use the schedule to enter the scores for their games. Check out our live Demo to see how easy it is.

Q: Isn't this process open to abuse?
A: Not really. There are mechanisms in place to protect against such abuse. For security reasons, we cannot publish these details on the web. Contact us for more information. We also have options available to allow score reporting to be password-protected.

Q: Are the standings the same for each sport?
A: The standings include different information for each sport. We have several different tie-breakers available, including head-to-head games.

Q: Can my league modify the schedule during the season?
A: Yes. After the schedule is initially populated by SoftballTech, there are several ways that your league can modify it, from any web browser:

• Games can be rescheduled, such as for rainouts. This information appears alongside the original game in the schedule.
• Specific games can be changed to different teams within the same division. This can be used to correct errors in the original schedule, or for games where the teams are based on the current standings on the day of the game.
• Extra games, called "playoffs," can be added at the end of the season.
• Team names can be changed at any time. This can be also be used if two teams need to swap divisions after the schedules are online.
• Other changes can be made by contacting support.

Q: How does an administrator add makeup games.
A: Easily! From any web browser, the administrator uses the Admin Page to enter division and date information, and clicks the Makeup button. This brings up a form with each of the games pending for that day and division. The administrator simply adds the new day, time, and field information for the games being rescheduled. The time and field data is pre-populated, so an entire division can be rescheduled in less than a minute!
